    You will meet our guides at our meeting point. You will receive all the glacier gears needed to access the cave, and step on a super jeep to start the ride towards the ice cave

    Katla ice cave exploration

    You will get off the super jeep and take a short hike, through the black sand desert, towards the glacier where the ice cave is located; once there, you will start the exploration of the beautiful Katla ice cave.

Driving time to Vík from Reykjavík is around 2 hours and 30 minutes in good road and weather conditions.
