What to Wear

Please prepare your clothing according to the weather forecast, taking care to avoid cotton and jeans. Consider the following list of clothing items:

• Hiking Boots (ideally waterproof, Gore-Tex or equivalent)
• Long-sleeve Thermal Shirt (wool or synthetic)
• Light Wool/Fleece Sweater (second layer)
• Quick-Drying Trousers (wind-resistant, water-repellent)
• Waterproof Rain Jacket/Anorak with Hood (Gore-Tex or similar)
• Waterproof Rain Trousers
• Wool/Synthetic Liner Gloves (one or two pairs)
• Wool/Synthetic Hat, Buff, or Cap
• Sunglasses
• Swimwear & towel (in case you go to Landmannalaugar)

Food and Refreshments

If you have purchased a lunchbox, rest assured that there's no need to bring additional food. However, if you haven't booked a lunchbox, consider bringing lunch items such as sandwiches, biscuits, power bars, and beverages.

Adding a Lunchbox

Stay Hydrated with Your Own Reusable Water Bottle

We recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. Iceland's tap water is of exceptional quality, and you can also refill your bottle from streams and rivers during your excursions.

Arrival Time at Midgard

Please ensure you check in no later than 15 minutes before the tour departure. Our operation manager will be present to welcome you and introduce you to your guide.

Minimum Number of Participants

The minimum participant count for each tour is specified in the tour description on our website. Should the minimum not be met, you'll be presented with two options: an alternative trip or a full refund.

Cancellation Policy

For all-day tours operated by Midgard Adventure:

• Cancellations made more than 5 days before departure will be refunded, minus a 10% transaction and service fee.
• Cancellations made less than 5 days before departure are non-refundable.
