The meeting point for your Katla Ice Cave adventure is in South Iceland, in the town of Vík. Meet us in the bus parking lot on the South side of the Icewear/Kronan building (the side facing the sea). Meet the Gravel Travel vehicle. Please note that our tours leave promptly, so we appreciate your punctuality. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your scheduled tour in case you have any difficulty finding the meeting point.
Getting Here
Vík is located approximately 180 km (112 miles) from Reykjavík, about a 2.5 hour drive in good weather conditions. Drive safely and stay informed on conditions!

Guides will choose the safest accessible cave and route on the day of the tour.
