All the year around you'll be able to see a variety of whales by the coast, from the Minke, Humpback, and Killer whales to White Beaked Dolphins and Harbour Porpoises. The high peak season for whale watching is from April to October, but of course, the ocean is always full of adventures. You can see all the other aquatic species, and all sorts of wildlife and at the same time enjoy the splendid scenery around the coast of Iceland.

  • If You Added Pick-up Service, We Will Pick You Up 75–45 Minutes Before Departure. This Is The Pick-up Window. Traffic May Cause Small Delays, But We’ll Do Our Best To Arrive Within That Time.
  • Weather Is A Big Factor For The Tour, We May Have To Cancel The Tour Due To Unfavorable Weather Conditions.
  • The Tour Takes Place In Wild Nature, Sightings Cannot Be Predicted Or Guaranteed. If There Are No Sightings On The Tour, We Do Not Offer Refunds But Instead, We Offer Our Passengers A Free Return To Join Our Tour Depending On Availability Or Receive A Voucher Valid For Up To Three Years.

Please check in at Old Harbour House, Ægisgarður 2, 101 Reykjavík, 30 minutes before departure. To check in, simply scan the bar/QR code on your ticket at the self-service kiosk

  • If you added a pick-up service, the car will arrive at your location 45 minutes before departure.
  • If you´re arriving by car, the nearest paid parking lot is about a 5-minute walk from our meeting point: https://maps.app.goo.gl/DcoFfLssh3v72xQ16
  • Weather plays a big role, and we may have to cancel the tour due to unfavorable conditions. In such cases, we’ll notify you at least 2 hours before departure. You can also check the status of your tour on our website: www.seatrips.is.
  • The tour takes place in wild nature, so sightings can’t be predicted or guaranteed. If there are no sightings, we don’t provide refunds but offer a free return ticket (valid for up to three years, subject to availability).
  • Please keep in mind that if we have fewer passengers, we might need to operate on our smaller yacht Harpa instead of Amelia Rose. The Harpa offers the same amenities and comfort as the Amelia Rose.
  • Feel free to arrive early and enjoy a taste of Icelandic cuisine at the Old Harbour House! As our guest, you’ll get 15% off the food menu. Simply show your activity voucher to claim your discount at the bar. The kitchen is open from 11:00 to 20:30.
